thrötna (thrøtna): tröttna, mattas, uppgivas. at törkik hinason bytte thy hästin at han kom hwargin medh hanum for thy at han trötnade hästin ok han bytte hästin for thera bäzsta ATb 1: 50 (1455). " han trätnade tha om syde oc formatthe ey länger mot staa" Troj 31. ey trötnadhe han ellir nogon tiid j striid ib 77. Jfr throtna.

Orthography: Early Old Swedish used different letters for ä and ö, so thrötna may have also been written as thrøtna
