härd, eldstad. Pedher muramestare, som. .. muradhe ärilen til kokaskorsthen HLG 2: 37 (1512). Item mwremestaren for. .. en vngh bygdh i her Benktz Smaleninge grendh met en ny eryll for i mark ib 2: 54 (1516).

Orthography: Early Old Swedish used different letters for ä and ö, so äril may have also been written as æril
