hålla tillbaka, spara. sidhan bestalningen är giordh häydes sparlika j förstonne all förtärning, som gammalth ord är at man skal häyda widher bredden oc ey widher bothnen PMSkr 141. Jfr forhäghdha.

Orthography: Early Old Swedish used different letters for ä and ö, so häghdha may have also been written as hæghdha
