mandråp. " the män sum i manwättum äru (d. v. s. som begått dråp och derför hafva att befara hämd) mugho full wappn hawa sik till wärn Sd 4: 465 (1335, nyare afskr.). ä hwatt hälder han är i manwäät äller egh" ib 5: 374 (1344, nyare afskr.). Se Schlyters Ordb. s. 429 manna väkt. Jfr manväkt.

Orthography: Early Old Swedish used different letters for ä and ö, so manvät may have also been written as manvæt
